MarketMate: Robot Shopping Cart

Fall 2005

The task for this project was to modify the form, interface, and interactions for the Aethon tug, a social robot that assists hospital workers and patients, to fit a new social setting. I worked with a team of 4 to conduct and review research, focusing on design variables such as motion, navigation, and gaze as well as other robot platforms used in industry to develop Marketmate.
