Swiss Chocolateer Door Handle

This project was driven by the exploration of place and form. Door handles come in many shapes and sizes depending on the context of use. Swiss chocolateer shops was an interesting domain in that the qualities of the interior space reflect entirely on the product, almost as if it were another dimension to its packaging. Qualities it possesses are decadence and luxury, organic, voluptuous and even sensuality. I wanted to work these qualities into the form and texture of the door handle while tried to envision how the shape feels against your hand.
