Mattress Factory: Service Design

Spring 2005

The Mattress Factory is a one-of-a kind contemporary art museum created by in-residence artists of Pittsburgh. Its exhibitions consist of large-scale experimental and interactive art. Because of its obscure identity, the museum asked us, students with backgrounds in interaction design to help devise a plan that could bring the visitors closer together and more involved with the museum and its resident artists.

We worked with the curator of the museum to design a system and service that would enhance the visitor's experience before and after his/her trip to the museum.
